Paradox Basin

Kimmeridge farmed into 43,000 net acres in the Paradox Basin in 2013, focused on the liquid-rich portion of the Gothic and Hovenweep Shales. Since the initial entry, Kimmeridge has added a further 16,000 net acres organically, while participating in 6 vertical data gathering wells, several of which have been brought on to production from conventional reservoir targets and appear to confirm Kimmeridge’s geological thesis on the horizontal potential of the play. With the data from the initial test wells encouraging, Kimmeridge has begun the permitting process for a horizontal test.
